Path of Empiric Insight

The doctrine that all knowledge is derived directly from experience.

The realms around us offer a multitude of experiences to savoir and learn from.
Seek to overcome the weakness of our blind births, ascending through experiences to higher understanding and power. By playing with the fires of emotion and experiencing the icy thrill of them, you need to sense life in all its facets.
We excite our bodies and minds to true sensation, and open our consciousness to the entirety of the world. From the dizzying heights of comprehension, at the needlepoint of pain, we learn the true measure of the life we walk.
Information given third-, or even second-hand is flawed. Every time a piece of knowledge is passed on from person to person, something is twisted, distorted, even if unintended. It is only by seeing, feeling, experiencing for oneself that one can truly gain understanding. And the more one understands the individual, the more one understands the big picture; the clearer a view one has on the true inner workings of the worlds around them.

The ethics of the path:

→ Be a teacher, torturer and lover to those who seek empowerment.

→ Practice what you learn. Wisdom is meaningless unless it accompanies action.

→ Seek out those on the border of awareness and initiate them.

→ Experience every sensation imaginable, and then some

→ Gather with your path to share your learning

Following the path

Sensation for the sake of itself is not a philosophy that many can understand. But to those of this organization, it is a doctrine suited to life itself. After all, life is a brief flicker for many, and the droll comment "What will it matter in a hundred years?" is all too true for most creatures. Life is a short-lived gift. Failing to explore this gift in all its dimensions is like squander the gift, setting it aside on a shelf where other objects of little interest accumulate. And how else can life be experienced, but through the senses? This is the secret the sensates know: To feel is to live, and to live is to feel.

Hierarchy of sins

- Moral guidelines

1. Killing an innocent being - We only kill in self defense.

2. Repeating one's behavior - Our purpose is to experience new things not repeat them.

3. Passing up the opportunity to acquire information or secrets - Information is the key to experience.

4. Feeling wrong for seeking out new sensations - Feeling is life/Life is feeling; this helps others to learn & grow.

5. Failing to see all as equals - We all experience things differently despite rank or station.

6. Refusing to accept social order - Structure ensures no experience is lost or in vain.

7. Refusing to have an experience because of fear - Let nothing hold you back, even fear is an experience.

8. Failing to participate in a path ritual - The rituals handed down contain clues to empowerment.

9. Fearing death - Death is an inevitable change to a new form of existence.

10. Failing to hold patience towards a goal - Some experiences cannot be rushed.
